SPU employee discount for youth bike camp

Pedalheads is currently hosting youth bike camps at the Ross Parking lot on campus through August 19. is a learn-to-ride camp known for taking kids from training wheels to two wheel to road riding. They combine a fun group setting with specialized equipment, tailored cycling lessons, and instructors to build confidence and get some of the most tentative kids biking on their own. Henrikson's article named one of "Best of 2024-25"

An article by Robin Henrikson, associate professor of education, titled "Psychological Safety for School Board Members,” was selected to be reprinted in the School Administrator magazine’s digital-only July 2025 issue, “Best of 2024-25.” . AASA is the premier association for school system leaders and serves as the national voice for public education and district leadership on Capitol Hill.




Tom Trzyna
Trzyna's essay to be published

An essay by Professor Emeritus Tom Trzyna titled, "Karl Popper and the Falsification of Ethical Theories," will appear in Culture and Dialogue, a Brill publication. This essay builds on the foundation laid by his 2017 book, Karl Popper and Literary Theory: Critical Rationalism as a Philosophy of Literature (Brill) and on several other recent books that develop themes in ethics and studies of the weapons market and genocide.
