A message from Information Technology: With summer fast approaching, we are preparing to update all SPU-managed devices to Windows 11, as Windows 10 will no longer be supported going into the next academic year. If your device has not yet been updated to Windows 11, we’ll need to connect with you as soon as possible to complete the update. Please review the following instructions based on your type of device:

Laptops
If you use a laptop, please schedule a time to drop it off at the IT Support Office (lower Marston) using the link below. The update typically takes about one hour, so choose a time when you won’t need your device during that period. .

Desktops
If you use a desktop, our office will contact you directly to arrange a time for a technician to come by and complete the update. This process should also take approximately one hour.

Non-Compatible Devices
Some older devices may not support Windows 11. If your device falls into this category, we’ll work with you to upgrade to a compatible model.

Important: Back Up Your Data
