What was your most impactful class or professor? This question feels nearly impossible to answer because I couldn't pick one. I am often amazed by the SPU faculty for being truly incredible ɬÀï·¬ with a genuine gift and passion for teaching. All of the professors in the Honors program and the biology department have made lasting impressions in my life that I will carry with me beyond SPU.

What are you excited for in your future career? In my future career, I hope to provide underserved groups with access to life-changing health care. As I become equipped with medical knowledge and skills, I hope to pay forward my educational opportunities by advocating for holistic patient approaches and preventative medicine.

What advice do you have for incoming students? Incoming students should get to know their advisors and professors! Although that sounds cliche, I have looked to faculty for their advice in nearly all my educational and pre-professional endeavors. Since they know me personally, their advice is catered to my needs and aspirations and our conversations are rooted in honesty and trust.

How have you grown during your time at SPU? SPU has undeniably changed me for the better. During my first quarter at SPU, my Honors 2000 professor, Dr. Tom, told our class that we seek liberal arts education to become better members of society. My SPU education has gifted me with a deep and well-rounded understanding of knowledge, and I have been encouraged to find genuine meaning and purpose in all of my educational and professional pursuits.
