Skip Li ’66 honored with 2026 Frank Haas Integrity in Business Award
ɬ’s Center for Faithful Business honored SPU alumnus Chi-Dooh “Skip” Li ’66 with the 2026 Frank Haas Integrity in Business Award on March 5. Li is a founding partner of the ɬ law firm Ellis, Li, McKinstry PLLC and the founder of . The award recognizes business leaders who integrate Christian faith with professional life in ways that contribute to the flourishing of communities. The evening included tributes from Ellis, Li & McKinstry’s ’80, Kristi Drake ’83 of LePanier Very French Bakery, and Associate Professor of Economics Geri Mason.
Li founded Ellis, Li, McKinstry in 1977 with a vision of building a law firm dedicated not only to excellent legal work but also to serving clients, colleagues, and the city of ɬ with integrity. In 1984 he founded Agros International after helping rebuild a Guatemalan village following the country’s civil war. Since then, Agros has helped more than 26,000 ɬ in Central America access land, opportunity, and hope.
He is also a founder of , an intentional Christian living community near the University of Washington that encourages students to love God and their neighbors through shared life and mentorship.
The , named for the founder of Leisure Communities Ltd. and an early champion of SPU’s Center for Faithful Business, honors leaders whose lives demonstrate the integration of faith and work.
