Dr. Erica R. Glasper is a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Neuroscience and the Institute for Behavioral Medicine Research at The Ohio State University. Her research in behavioral neuroendocrinology focuses on understanding how life experiences shape brain function and behavior. Employing multidisciplinary methods, her work combines behavioral paradigms with neuroendocrine, neuroanatomical, neuroimmune, neurochemical, and pharmacological techniques.

Dr. Glasper’s research is concentrated in three key areas:

  1. Neurobiology of parenting
  2. Neuroprotective effects of rewarding social experiences
  3. Psychoneuroimmunological underpinnings of early life adversity

Her research is currently supported by the National Institutes of Health and the College of Medicine at The Ohio State University, contributing valuable insights into the links between social behavior and brain health. Dr. Glasper’s work continues to advance our understanding of how environmental and social factors influence neuroplasticity and well-being.
