INTERIOR DESIGN MAJOR
Suggested Course Sequence: A Four-Year Plan

At least 94 total and 25 upper-division credits are required for the BA in Interior Design. This course sequence is meant to be used as a guideline. Consult with your faculty advisor or academic counselor about modifying this plan to meet your needs, and to reflect any coursework you have already completed prior to enrolling at SPU.

Competencies Exploratory Curriculum (EC)	Foreign Language Competency, if required			Complete Writing Skills and Math Skills Competency requirements, as dictated by placement tests AHB, AHC, SSA, SSB, NSA, NSA, NSB, MAT (Choose one to three depending on competency courses needed)
Other				Electives to reach at least 45 credits if needed

Other	Apply for admission to the major once you have earned an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher and a minimum GPA of 2.8 in FCS 1050, FCS 2702, and FCS 2204.			Electives to reach at least 90 credits if needed

Other		Apply to graduate once 105 credits and admission to major have been earned.		Electives to reach at least 135 credits if needed

Major	FCS 4710	FCS 4712	FCS 4720	FCS 4899, FCS 4940, or (unless you took )

Other	Create a final-year plan and meet with your faculty advisor for review.			Electives to reach at least 180 total college-level quarter credits and 60 upper-division credits if needed
